The Interactor is a sociologically and mechanically based theoretical model using ideograms to depict the individual and cumulative process elements of a single interaction between two people. The model was developed to answer one of my own curiosities, and that was, if any action is the end result of a chain reaction, there must have been the first interaction that would result in that final chain reaction. I wondered what that first interaction would look like and how would it might work?
The Interactor was logically, empirically, and observably reverse-engineered using all the mechanical and artistic skills I had developed during my lifetime. All those skills were needed to create this depiction. The Interactor has also been scrutinized and tested to the limits of my abilities and performs predictably and reliably... every time.
Little did I realize at the time, the ensuing implications, applications, and supplemental insights from this successful endeavor. Without this specific goal in mind, I had inadvertently depicted the spatial interactive process not just between people, but between any two or more things. After all... a space is a space, is a space... from galactic to microscopic, with a “people” plane somewhere in between. This interactive space is where information and perspective influence are communicated between objects.
Not only was I able to clearly see how this entire process works, where this process fails, and why, but also how to introduce manipulative tactics that can be used to diffuse potentially negative outcome interactions.
If it is possible that if life is a very serious game that you only get to play once, then it would help to know what the game board looks like and how to successfully move your piece from start to finish. The Interactor does just this, and it is simpler than you might possibly think.
